note that the Hardship Exemption is only valid for one year, so a new application
must be completed each year.
Senate Bill 320 in the 2004 Maryland Legislative Session enacted the Bay Restoration
Fee. The bill requires that each property owner pay an annual $30 fee for EACH
habitable dwelling that is located on his/her property and connected to his/her
sewage disposal (septic) system(s). For additional information, please visit
